I believe in doing better, helping people to realise that there is a better life available to them; that they have the potential to go further than they ever thought was possible... In my case 13 miles further!
I want to be the best I can be and hopefully inspire those around me on the way - not just my clients - by leading by example. If you set your mind to something, you can achieve things you thought were impossible.

It was such a random split-second decision. Why a marathon? Why did I do that to myself?!
Ultimately, I decided to sign up, not just to raise money for Aspire, but to feel physically better about myself. I keep saying I will start exercising again, and then not doing it, even thought I’m getting married on the 27th October this year! I thought it would be good to motivate myself through the power of social pressure.

I’m used to training in dojos, doing kick ass classes like karate, but it’s been a while since I’ve bowed in. Also, while it is physically challenging in its own way, and I have a great punch - it’s not running.
