At Aspire, we are proud to be part of Team Oxford - a movement of incredible like-minded people, organisations and businesses working together in a joint commitment to achieve a more connected Oxford.

The Team Oxford movement endeavours to increase social action across the city - and will now be even better placed to provide this, thanks to the fantastic support of a Partnerships grant from The National Lottery Community Fund.

This funding will enable the introduction of new volunteering events, campaigns and infrastructure support for charities and public services that need this most, with the opportunity to collaborate, working together to increase and improve the availability and accessibility of impactful volunteering opportunities. Here, they can help to make a real difference in the health and social sectors, encouraging engagement, strengthening resources and alleviating service strain.

Partners of the movement include:

  • Aspire
  • OCVA
  • Oxford City Council
  • Oxford Health
  • OxFed
  • Oxford Brookes University
  • Oxford Computer Consultants

"I’m thrilled to lead such a meaningful community project - it’s a great opportunity to boost volunteering in the city by bringing together people, communities and organisations for the collective goal of a happier and healthier city. Oxford is a vibrant place with a huge amount of energy and drive to do more good; I can’t wait to see Team Oxford channelling this towards tackling important issues including tackling homelessness, improving mental and physical health, reducing loneliness and connecting communities.”
